In & Out of Season

The following seasonal products are currently available:

Banana Leaves

Banana leaves from Thailand are very limited available. This due to extremely hot wheather which burns the leaves.

Mango Nam Dok Mai

The Nam Dok Mai mango season from North Thailand has ended. New crop is available from Northeast Thailand. However the supply is limited and the fruits are bigger.

Granadilla & Maracuja

Granadilla and Maracuja from Colombia are both not available. This due to heavy rain.

Baby Pineapples

In the Baby pineapples from South Africa are limited due to bad wheather. However the baby pineapples from Mauritius are good available.

Papaya

Papaya has been very limited lately, and this situation will continue for some weeks at least. The rains that have pouring in the flowering time already reduced the crops earlier, and now the wintertime in Brasil produces a lot less fruit than expected. Prices in the Brasilian local market are extremely high this year. Together with high airfreightcosts and the strong dollar this all make papaya prices rise in Europe.
