Herbs season

In the coming weeks Israel will be switching from the winter to the summer season. This means in general that the production will be lower, as the demand for herbs from Isreal will decrease. Local production in Europe is available. Several herb growers will stop growing some items which are more sensitive than others, due to the extreme heat in Isreal. For example, Melissa, Marjoram, Chervil and Oregano are items which are more difficult to obtain in this time of the year. However we have other, local Dutch sources and will continue with production from Kenya, India and Israel to ensure we can deliver year-round.

All our herbs, come in 1 kg boxes, but other packaging is available on request. With our own packing lines we are able to pack the herbs in 8x30 or 40 grams or 10x100 grams. These punnets are resealable and will ensure a longer shelf-life.

Also this summer mint will be one of the most common ingredients for cocktails as it gives these drinks an extra bite and fresh taste. Make sure you have enough fresh mint in stock to last thru the coming hot summer days!
