Red Kiwi
The red kiwi is characterized by its red core and the high amount of vitamin C. This variety contains twice the amount of vitamin C as a standard green kiwi.

Preparation
Cut the fruit vertically into two halves. From here, either cut the halves into slices, or scoop out the two fleshy halves with a tablespoon. The skin is not eaten.
ConsumptionKiwi tastes deliciously out of hand. Furthermore the fresh fruit is great when added into cakes or salads. Slices of kiwi are also a beautiful decorative garnish.
When to eatKiwis should be slightly firm but should not be soft and mushy. Keep ripe kiwis at a cool and dark place.
