Avocado - The Fruit of Life

In collaboration with The World Avocado Organization (WAO) and The Avocado Show, Nature's Pride has designated this month as "Avocado Month" to mark the off-the-charts popularity of the nutrient-dense fruit.

Throughout November a range of avocado-inspired activities and events are taking place, including the first-ever Amsterdam avocado tram (#AvoTram), followed by the opening of the world's first avocado shop.

Europe follows the US as the second largest market for avocados and the Netherlands is the gateway to the Continent, hence why it has been chosen by the WAO as the location to launch "Avocado Month".

During the "Avocado Month" we created an online contest via www.eatme.eu where you can win amazing avocado prices, like a year long free supply of avocados, an exclusive avocado Fruit-of-Life-bike and The Avocado Show merchandise pack worth € 250.*

At the beginning of the season our avocados come from the north of Peru. At the end of the summer we have avocados from the south of Peru.

  • Nature's Pride is changing to paper packing sheets

In the context of making packaging sustainable, Nature's Pride is replacing its (black) plastic packing sheets into FSC certified paper packing sheets. The paper packing sheets have the same function as plastic packing sheets. However, the original paper colour, without unnecessary processing, ensures that by using these packing sheets high recycling rates can be achieved.
