NEW IN OUR RANGE: ACHACHA!

Discover the new addition to our range: Achacha! This fruit from Bolivian origin is gaining more and more popularity in Europe, Australia and some parts of Southeast Asia. The achacha is loved for its unique refreshing sweet and tangy flavours and its healthy benefits. At Nature's Pride the achacha is available from May to August.
In Bolivia, achacha is grown on a small scale and in private orchards. Our rambutan grower from Guatemala saw opportunities in growing achacha and has increased cultivating this small tropical fruit. The achacha has a tough, orange skin. The soft white flesh is a fine balance between sweetness and acidity, creating a unique taste sensation. Therefore, achacha means 'honey kiss'. Although the achacha is a cousin of the mangosteen, it has less than half of the sugar content, which gives the fruit that special unique tanginess.

At the beginning of the season our avocados come from the north of Peru. At the end of the summer we have avocados from the south of Peru.

  • Nature's Pride is changing to paper packing sheets

In the context of making packaging sustainable, Nature's Pride is replacing its (black) plastic packing sheets into FSC certified paper packing sheets. The paper packing sheets have the same function as plastic packing sheets. However, the original paper colour, without unnecessary processing, ensures that by using these packing sheets high recycling rates can be achieved.
