The Westland Ride raises record amount for cancer research

This weekend a record amount of € 260,000 was raised by The Westland Ride. This amount is intended for brain tumor research. As the main sponsor of The Westland Ride, Nature's Pride, looks back on an amazing weekend, where solidarity and great atmosphere set the character of the event.
The last weekend of May, the Olsthoorn ranch in Naaldwijk was transformed into a cycling terrain for The Westland Ride. In sunny weather, the 24-hour relay race and tours of 100, 50 and 25 km were cycled in Westland and the surrounding area. Upon arrival there was a delicious box of our EAT ME fruit ready for everyone and plenty of live music to be enjoyed.

During 'the final' the 24-hour riders entered the ranch in a huge spine tingling procession under loud applause. Shortly after, the enormous final amount of € 260,000 was announced on the stage.

These proceeds will benefit research of brain tumours by Prof. dr. Sillevis and researcher Pim French, associated with the Daniël den Hoed foundation.

A big thank you to everyone who participated in The Westland Ride in any way, shape or form. Together, we are now another step closer in the fight against cancer!
