Baby turnips are round creamy white bulbous taproots. Baby turnips are sweet and slightly spicy, comparable to a combination of cabbage and radish. Turnip leaves are also edible. These leaves are called turnip tops and also have a slight spicy flavour.

Baby turnip is kept refrigerated in storage and during transport. The ideal temperature during transport is 2 and 4 degrees Celsius. At home the baby turnips need to be kept in the fridge.
