These tubes contain several different herb flavours which are made of fresh herbs and spices. A few hours after harvesting the herbs and spices are cleaned and chopped to make a herb paste which makes everyday cooking with fresh herbs so much easier.

Varieties

Basil

The basil herb paste contains three bunches of fresh organic Genovese basil which has been cleaned, chopped and put into a handy tube. Basil is best added at the end of the cooking process and it is indispensable in Italian dishes like pastas, pizzas, creamy sauces, dressings, soups and frittata.

Chili pepper

The chili pepper herb paste contains five fresh organic habanero peppers which have been cleaned, chopped and put into a handy tube. The chili pepper paste is extremely useful to create spicy dishes without getting chili on your hands, or worse: Into your eyes! Chili pepper can be added at the start of the cooking process to give the whole dish that special flavour, or at the end to give it a bit of spice. Chili pepper can be used in many recipes, but it is especially nice in Asian curries and Mexican marinades and sauces.

Italian herbs

The Italian herb paste contains 3 bunches of fresh herbs which has been rinsed, chopped and put into handy tubes. The Italian herb paste is a culinary mixture of basil, oregano, parsley, thyme and rosemary. The Italian herb paste is best added at the end of the cooking process. The Italian herb paste is ideal for Italian dishes like pasta, pizza, dressings and omelettes.

Ginger

The ginger herb paste contains a handful of fresh ginger which has been rinsed, chopped and put into a handy tube. The ginger paste is ideal for people that like the distinct flavour of ginger, but don’t like fussing about grating or cutting it. Ginger can be used as a base for sweet and spicy recipes and is usually added at the start of the cooking process. Ginger is indispensable in many Asian recipes and tastes delicious as an ingredient in sauces, marinades, juices and biscuits.

Lemon grass

The lemon grass herb paste contains 6 stalks of organic lemon grass which has been rinsed, chopped and put into handy tubes. The lemon grass paste is quick and easy because it is not necessary to crush or chop the lemon grass anymore. Lemon grass is delicious in both sweet and spicy dishes and is best added at the end of the cooking process. Lemon grass is an indispensable ingredient in Thai recipes, like curries, noodles, but is also nice in fish and meat dishes in combination with coriander.
