Lemon thyme is the leaf of a low growing shrub. This herb has small grey-green leaves that are white underneath. There are many sorts and varieties of thyme of which the ''ordinary'' thyme is used most in the kitchen. Lemon thyme has a spicy, light flowery and lemon aroma. The herb has a tasty flavour with a hint of lemon.
