Mini carrots are a root vegetable that grow underneath the soil. The mini vegetable is easily recognised by its long round shape, 10 to 12 cm long with a tapered end. Mini carrots are orange, they are sweet and have a crunchy structure.

Storage advice

Mini carrots are kept refrigerated during transport and storage. The ideal temperature during transport is 2 ℃. At home the mini carrots are best kept in the fridge.

Growing and harvesting

The seeds of mini carrots are planted by using a machine in an open field. After 6 weeks the mini carrots are ready to be harvested. The carrots are
pulled out of the soil by hand and carefully placed in crates. Then the green leaves are removed from the carrots in the packhouse, they are cleaned and prepared for transport to Nature's Pride.
