Organic sweet potato

An organic sweet potato is not actually a potato, but a starchy root vegetable, sometimes called yam. They vary from long oval shapes to round shapes. The roots don't only vary in shape but also in colour. Nature's Pride follows the seasons of different countries all year round to provide the tastiest organic sweet potatoes. Organic products can be identified by the Green European organic logo.

Our dedicated growers constantly strive towards a sustainable way of cultivating. They have made a conscious choice for organic farming, they use natural soil enrichment and pay special attention to nature and the environment. The European Union has the most evident principles of organic farming laid down in legislation, including strict measures in order to protect producers and consumers. The organic EAT ME sweet potatoes have been fully checked and as such they are officially organically certified.

Storage advice

The ideal temperature for organic sweet potatoes during transport and storage is between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius. At home the organic sweet potatoes need to be kept out of the fridge and are best placed in a cool dry place.
