Padrón chillies

Depending on the country of origin the small Padrón chillies are between 3 to 7 cm long, they are cone shaped and slightly grooved. Spanish Padrón chillies are a bit smaller, wrinkled and green. Dutch Padrón chillies are somewhat bigger in size, shiny and bright green. The Padrón chillies can be either sweet or slightly spicy. The Padrón chillies score 0 on the 'hot scale'.
