Savory

A touch of spice and pepperiness

Savory - Product photo

The many uses of fresh savory do not need further introduction in many kitchens. It is a commonly used ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine. Eastern European chefs also appreciate its flavour-boosting qualities. The taste can best be described as peppery and spicy.

This low-growing herb with elongated leaves spreads a wonderful aroma. Savory holds the middle between thyme and mint. Striking detail: some chefs use it as an alternative to salt and pepper.
