Carnations

Carnations are also called dianthus, they are the colourful flowers that grow on a carnation plant. These subtle scented flowers have frilly edged leaves that have an aromatic clove flavour. The different varieties of the dianthus –flowers vary quite a bit in shape and colour. EAT ME has the pink, purple and white varieties of these edible flowers.
