Mini capsicum

Eye-catching garnish with many dishes

Mini Paprika - Product photo

Mini capsicums look very distinctive on any table. This small fruiting vegetable resembles regular sweet peppers, and is also available in the same colours (red, yellow and green). Only their miniature shape is different. Mini capsicums are not grown much larger than 4 to 5 centimeters, a size that has been made possible by continuous breeding. This also brings new uses in the kitchen within reach.

Mini capsicums are a perfect size for filling and look stunning as a garnish. Mini capsicums can be red, green or orange, but they all share a pleasantly sweet taste. The absence of seeds is an additional advantage.

Recipes & preparation tips

The mini capsicum may be small, but its applications in the kitchen are definitely moreish. This small vegetable is suitable for any recipe for which the 'large' capsicum is also used. But its endearing size is a plus in giving dishes an exclusive look. Stuffing is also a popular preparation. Rinsing the mini capsicum and cutting the stem off is all it takes.
