Growing and harvesting

Strawberry plants belong to the rose family. They can propagate
vegetatively, meaning that the mother plant produces runners that
form new plants. One year after propagation the strawberry plants
are planted in containers (the Netherlands) or in the field (Spain).
Strawberries are harvested by hand and immediately packaged in
their end-user packaging. Next, they are sorted for quality, packed
into boxes and transported to Nature's Pride within 24 hours.
